💬 Frequently asked questions
How many ml are in a fluid ounce?
One US fluid ounce is about 29.57 ml. Packaging often rounds this to 30 ml, so a "1 fl oz" serum and a "30 ml" serum are essentially the same size. This tool uses the precise 29.57 value so your conversions stay accurate.
How do I convert grams to ounces for ingredients?
Divide grams by 28.35 to get ounces, or multiply ounces by 28.35 to get grams. Weight units matter for dry ingredients such as clays, powders, waxes and balm bases. Choose "Weight" at the top of the converter to switch to grams and oz.
Are drops and pumps reliable measurements?
They are approximate. In the longevity calculator we estimate a drop at roughly 0.05 ml and a pump at about 0.5 ml, which is typical for most droppers and airless pumps. Actual amounts vary by product viscosity and dispenser, so treat the result as a close guide rather than an exact figure.
